Earth is made from diatomaceous earth and produced using a traditional Japanese plastering technique. The design maximizes the feature and atmosphere of the diatomaceous earth, which brings us warmth when touched.  SiO2 the chemical symbol of the main component of diatomaceous earth and is carved into the clock face.  Winner of the Gold Pin Design Award (2016, Taiwan).
